Vaseline. Hair. Great.

While I was getting dressed today, Izzie discovered the Vaseline & proceeded to style her hair with it. We were going to run errands so I had to do something with it after SCRUBBING it with dish washing soap did nothing.
TaDa! Truly fitting. Little spiky horns. Hehe.

On a side note: these kids are kinda cute. So is their sister.

Another Trip To The Cabin

We took a trip to Grandma & Grandpa Blair's cabin in South Fork, Colorado before Pat has to go back to work. The kids were so excited to go. There's not much to do there; that's the novelty of it. The kids play with sticks & rocks, we take walks, & go over to the only grocery store for miles, The Rainbow, to gather the ingredients for life: s'mores.

A little charred.
The next day, Grandpa was feeling well enough to take us fishing. We didn't find the exact spot he was looking for, but the boys were excited to get to try. Grandpa helped get everything ready. He's had a couple years of practice. *wink* Hannah wanted to keep the worms as pets. Gross.
Pat was still in awe of his Dad. He walked over to me & said, "He cast that thing like 500 yards!"

Pat would cast Ryan's bait & Ryan would immediately reel it in saying, "Dad, I think I really got something." After awhile, Pat started ignoring him until he saw a gleam in the water. The first, last, & only fish was caught by the youngest fisherman.

He was so excited. He wanted to hold it the whole way home.

Brown Lake

Izzie kept busy throwing rocks into the lake. She would have dived right in if I would have let her.
Hannah got sick that night so we stayed another night. Izzie would not share her cookies on the last night, even after Grandpa tried to bribe her with a kiss.

Spring Has Sprung!

Since Pat has been off, we have started tackling
the things that desperately need done.
We have painted the living room &
are starting on the kitchen & bathroom.

Isn't she the sweetest?
If you look closely, you can still see her little horns.

We, as in I, planted flowers.

We, as in Pat, put together solar lights for the flower bed.

We, as in we, but mostly me, cleaned up the front yard.

It looks nice, but we still have more to do.

Ryan's Soccer Party

Ryan has is soccer party a few days ago. He received a certificate & medal with a soccer ball on it. It is currently his prized possession. It was the first thing he showed Grandpa when he stopped by.

Hannah chasing Izzie. We have to take turns; that girl never stops.
