OK, Robb, here it is!
2012 has been a hard year so far. Pat lost his job in January, got another job, and another job that he just started last week. The following are pictures and links from this year so far.
Hannah had surgery on her right foot in February. She was born with an extra bone in both of her feet & broke it. While it was healing, she was hopping on the left foot & hurt it. She was wearing 2 walking boots & using crutches for about 2 weeks. We are good for now. While she was waiting to have surgery on her foot, her right eardrum ruptured. She will be getting T tubes in her ears in June. They last longer & when they come out she will hopefully have a permanent hole in her ear which will help with the negative pressure she has always had in her ears. Hannah loves reading; chapter books won't even last a few days in hands. Hopefully Middle school will be kind to us in the fall.
Ryan turned 8 on March 23rd and finished another wrestling season. He received a medal in every tournament for the 3rd year in a row. He is excited to play his first year of football in the fall. Ryan is quick to learn, but quick to get into trouble because he is bored. We have been working on this for the past 3 years. Hopefully he will be chosen for the gifted class next year & it will stretch his mind. He reads at a 5th grade level in the 2nd grade. Oh, please 3rd grade, be kind to us in the fall.
Miss Izzie B is my constant companion. I don't even have to ask for help because she's always willing. We clean the house and jam out to music everyday...a little loudly I must say. We go everywhere together and hit up a salad at Costa Vista whenever she can con me into it. Izzie learned to ride her bike without training wheels while Mammaw & Pappaw were here in March. I still cannot believe she will be going to Kindergarten in a few months! She is so ready. She is so excited to go. She will love it. It will make her so tired. I will love that! Please, oh please, Kindergarten, be kind to us in the fall.
Thank you Grandma Blair for the eye shadow. I think the sparkly BLACK kind is the best!
Ryan wanted a 6 layer Scorpion colored birthday cake. I need a new camera, but you get the idea.
Ryan & Lucas must have been sharing a hilarious comment here...haha...and sadly this was the only picture I have of my mother being here in March. I would feel bad, but she hates having her picture taken.

Ryan with all of his medals from 3 years of wrestling. He thinks he is pretty cool...obliviously.
Ryan cut his finger opening bean dip on Super Bowl Sunday. If you ever need stitches, during the Super Bowl would be a great choice. In & out of Urgent Care in 40 minutes with 3 stitches. He was more upset that he was going to miss some of the game.

Pappaw on the way back from the airport. I just noticed he's wearing the same shirt in both of these pictures. haha. That's my father for you. We took Ryan to a local restaurant that brews their own beer. My dad ordered a Bud Light. The server was appalled. He brought him some samples of the house stuff. Dad still wanted the Bud Light. The server brought it to him in a paper bag & told him he had to drink it by the trashcans out back. Pretty funny.
